Most of our friends don't have web pages. If you require information about Face Painting or other entertainment services we are glad to help our fellow entertainers, community organisations and event coordinators.
Our Community Commitment
Jane and I (Peter "Flora") Florance are committed to supporting community events and organisations.
Jane and I have been coordinators of the Mount Isa Agricultural Show's Animal Pavilion and Jane participated in it in our sixth year as a steward while I had a much needed year off. I have also served as the Vice President for one year and sponsorship coordinator for two years. We have also regularly given the Show sponsorship through entertainisa.com and any other assistance I can provide.
I have been Vice Chair of Outback Arts and Vice president of Leichardt Gymnastics as well as a founding member and currently President of CLEAN (Climate Landcare Environment Action Network). I have assisted with the computer needs of MIVR (Mount Isa Volunteer Resources) and designed MIVR's letterhead. I am designing the Web Site for CLEAN and assist LEAP (Living Equipment and Aid Providers) whenever I can.
Each year we give our services to Mount Isa charities. We have supported Wheelies Day (Mount Isa celebration of International Day of Disability) every year since its inception and will continue to support charitable organisations working in our community (this does not include Corporate Charity).
I have written a monthly environmental column for the North West Star in Mount Isa and hope to continue this in the future. In the past we published a local newsletter, Isa Cafe Culture, highlighting local community activities and people. Isa Cafe Culture can be downloaded on our "internal links" page and print copies are archived at the Mount Isa City Library.
